Valentine poem

Hey.. My friend sent me this poem, and i think it's really true and meaningful.. in a sort of emo and dark way... hahax. Anyways, here's the poem:-

Darker Side of Valentine - By Kael (Class Project)

Once again, we’ve reached that part,
When everywhere you look you see a heart.
Where you might start thinking you’re blind,
‘Cos pink and red’s all you find…

It’s time when eardrums burst with high-pitched squealing,
And most girls in the Girl’s school’s blushing.
Girls endlessly chatting on the same topic,
Again and again about which guy they wanna pick.

When florists makes the most in months,
And guys requesting the cutting of plants.
Girls accept them without a second thought,
And leave them around just to rot.

Cavities follow the gift of chocolate,
Nauseous crowds unlucky to be behind lovebirds.
Man, the air is just too crazily sweet,
While some enjoy it, it makes a handful sick.

And behind the scene’s, people never knew,
The truth of heartbreaks when confession’s flew.
Avoidable tears fell on this accursed day,
When people reject what others' hearts say.

Ain't it beautiful? hehehe... well, it IS called the darker side of Valentine ^^. Have a Happy Heart Day you guys!! Oh, and credits to Kael, she wrote this poem. =)
